It's time to push the reset button. Every few years I get this feeling. I usually break up with my signifigant other, quit my job, sell some belongings, and move. I think it's time to do this now...

In other news...I haven't bought a CD by a punk band that's current in years. The only "punk" I listen to is by older bands like the Germs, Black Flag, Bad Brains, etc. Is there anything out there by a newer band worth checking out?

I've been looking at Kandinsky's art lately. Great stuff. I found him a few years ago during a Klee phase. My favorite artist is Yves Tanguy. Heard of him? Amazing...

I think I'm going to quit taking bass lessons after this month. Kinda sad. I've become good friends with my teacher but it's expensive. I have been playing for about 12 years and I probably don't NEED lessons anymore but it's always nice to meet with someone who's better than you.

The 1980's pop music scene was bad in a lot of cases. There were some great bands though. The Police being one of them. Is there a band from that time from the pop scene that you think is underrated? For me, it would have to be Duran Duran. They were good musicians and had good lyrics.
