ok, i dont feel like writing, but theres something i was thinking of earlier and i think i should say it, cause i think its a good thing.

the depression thing, i've been there, i am there, periodically. but i know what it is, and i know what it feels like when its coming on, and i've dealt with it long enough to know what i must do to get over/through/around it.

the secret isnt something mystical, its knowing yourself and deciding to do something about it. everyone is different, and depression is caused by different things, but what it comes down to is state of mind.

i got to the point where i am tired of being a burden on my friends and myself, so what did i do? i ditched the antidepressants and decided it wasnt going to get to me anymore, which is when i realised that it does get to me.
but i dont let it control me, i know me, and i know what i like, and i know who i like, so when i get to feeling shitty i do the things i enjoy, and i spend time with the people i enjoy.
sometimes just doing things, even if they are shitty have-to-do things helps me, it gives me a sense of accomplishment, even if its small, it helps.

i still bitch and moan, (ask justinxl ) but over all i think i'm a happy person. and i definately know i'm better off than i was before.

just try to realise that you have control of your life and that there are things in you to be enjoyed. it may seem that things are beyond your ability to change, but they arent, we are, all of us, immensly powerful, and all we need do is learn to wield that power to make ourselves happy.
