I think it's about time I kicked some butt at work.
I am now completely distracted by the first person shooter Call of Duty that I play at lunch on the LAN. Then throughout the day I'm doing things on other websites, and any time left I'm often playing foosball in the break room. Sometimes I'm onl y spending about maybe 2 to 3 hours of solid work in a day.
I came in pretty much like gangbusters when I first started but through a series of letdowns I'm now just coasting.
There's quite a bit of disillusionment and cynicism now.
But I was facing it today, if I change jobs that's a lot of work in itself. It's not like I've really exhausted all avenues here yet. I figure I can get my resume ready and start looking while simultaneously start pushing for things.
I've never really done that. Normally I just bail if things start to suck. Where I'm at now has plenty of good things, but mixed in with bad things though.

'The Point!' sounds pretty cool; I'd like to see an episode of that.
Good luck with the job thing. Being an artistic-layabout, I can't really give any insightful comments on that subject.
