So recently I've started back on my atkins diet once again. All good so far!
Although I believe you should be happy with the body you have and embrace it, like I have in some ways. You can't help to stop and look back on photos of yourself or the result of a recent photo shoot and play "spot the difference" with yourself. It's natural and normal. No matter what, even if you had a so called "the perfect Body" you've always wanted, you're always going to have something to pick at on yourself, like a fine buffet. Your nose, your legs, your spots etc etc. But isn't that what makes us unique after all? I'm sure you've heard the phrase "if we were all the same, life would be pretty boring". Well I stand and live by that phrase. After all, in my eyes beauty is within and not just purely what you see on the outside. Beauty shouldn't have a rating or a scale. Ive heard So many people say "Shes prettier than her" or "hes fatter than that guy". So what!? We weren't put on this earth to please other people with our looks. We are who we are, we look how we look, we be who we want to be and we eat what we want to eat.
Magazines also shouldn't protray models as being skinny and protray that as the only thing that looks sexy, is being skinny. Well that's not the case, models can be all shapes and sizes. Who says curvy isn't sexy anyway, am I right?
I've heard many people tell me that I don't need to go on a diet but I'm not doing it for other people, I'm doing it for MYSELF as it's what I WANT. You do and decide what YOU want to do and how YOU want to look like. No one else!
Stay happy, stay positive, stay you! 💜
