i crossed over today from gottland we slept on the beach...there were so many people camped out and partying it was amazingly surreal. the sun never really went down and we never really slept...no one did, every one was kind of feverish for the sun in it's false twilight, heat...heavy movements, clear air clean...smiles every where people talking from all angles in warmth, passing laughing...

im going between norway and sweden right now doing research on ingmar bergman, uncanny naratives, and shooting my own project. it's so fucking beautiful here, the people are great, but i speak neither language very well so it gets pretty strange...been here a month and im missing my dog.

I miss Portland to, but where your at right now sounds like tons of fun. I always thought it would be hot to kiss someone, who doesn't speak the same language, you should try it while your there.
