first off... FUCK valentines day! Not just saying that because I'm single but for the fact that it's another day where people seem to EXPECT something. If you truly love someone you'll show them that everyday. Not "oh he got me chocolates roses and a card" or whatever else it may be.
But yes on the other hand it does make me feel a little sad seeing all these couples posting pics of themselves. Definitely miss being in a relationship.
Which brings me to a question for you all. Single or in a relationship.
If you could pick between being a millionaire or being with your one true love. Which would you pick??

I'm single and quite happy about it. But if I had to pick between a person with money and the love of my life it would be love for sure. I've never been materialistic. There is no amount of money that would impress me enough to give up the idea of love and real chemistry. I've never been one to celebrate Valentines, which actually irked my ex quite a bit. You'd think he would have been excited not to have to buy me pointless chocolates and flowers just because Hallmark said so, but apparently not. I'm with you. If you really love someone you'll tell them every day and, aside from the trivial gifts, treat every day like it's Valentines.

I agree about the whole V-day thing. I just pretend that it doesn't exist, and avoid those commercialized aisles at Walmart ;)
