I really really don't want to be back at work
You know how, when you've been off for ages and your body doesn't want to wake up early, I just could NOT get to sleep last night. I should have gone to Vanity after all, at least it would have been more fun than lying there trying to sleep
But it's all my own doing, and due to a badass New Years where I got extremely trashed with my best friend Gemma and some other folks who I've known a long time. I got all dressed up in my circle skirt and neeeewww fishnet stockings (didn't put a hole in this time either) though I did change after we decided to go and take the dogs out for a walk. We stayed up a long time, and I spent ther next day with Gem too, and watched Anchorman and Napoleon Dynamite again, before heading home. So far, 2005 has been uneventful, apart from a lot of sleeping, which has royally fucked up my body's patterns, but hopefully I'll be so knackered by tonight I'll be able to get some sleep!
Hope everyone is cool. As soon as I have decent pictures of my Christmas and New Year I'll post some pics. I am very much looking forward to this weekend, for reasons some of you know about, and I'm looking forward to the next payday too, though that seems like an eternity away!
New Years Resolutions don't really work for me, but this year I plan to get a new job, get in better shape and have more fun. I'm kickstarting my healthiness by doing a detox, which basically means being a vegan, but without eating any bread.
If I can manage it I might convert to veganism fully as it's something I'd really like to do, but I'm not sure if it's practical. All I know is, my skin is infinitely better since my Mum started healing it, and since I've cut out all dairy and wheat it's improved even more, as has my exzema. So fingers crossed thats the end of nasty spots for my again
I'm quite serious about this (how long it will last, who knows) I've even got myself some wheat-free-dairy-free bourbons so if the office biscuits tempt me I won't break! Woooo!
Happy 2005 guys. I have a lot of hope that it will be a damn sight better than 2004.
EXTRA EXTRA
I want to restretch my ears again, maybe to about a 0g or so. They used to be about 6 or 4 or something (6mm), now they're at 8g (3.2mm) but one is definitely a lot bigger than the jewellery in it. Now for anyone who knows about stretching and stuff, I already got the knitting needle tutorial off Ciel, and thats what I did it with originally, but I'm not sure i can be bothered with it. My question is this. If you were me, would you stretch your ears using a set of acrylic plugs, going up by 1/2mm at a time...like these...
or would you go for a pair of curved tapers like these...
The tapers go to 8mm and probably look cooler. But then I'd have to do something more to get bigger. The plugs go to12mm. The cost is exactly the same. Advice please people!

Well, happy new year and all that.. I just watched NApolean Dynamite for the first time last weekend, and it deserves all the hype it's received. I have to seriously restrain myself from overquoting that movie now...
