Recent events:
Went to a doc for my ankle, and I never go to docs. Got a full physical while I was there.
All my bloodwork was good, slightly high bad cholesterol, slightly low good cholesterol, high uric acid (which is in the chain of events causing the ankle pain). Time to start eating smart again and finding time for working out.
Oh yeah, got a finger up the ass, passed with flying colors.
Also, I don't have syphilis, apparently.
Ankle pain cleared up after taking nyproxen, which tells the doc it's probably gout, an arthritic inflammation in the joints from a build up of crystallized uric acid.

Cinemonk cleared out the garage while I was laid up with the ankle, and then we moved the home theatre out there. The BoomBoomRoom is looking good for round 1. Have some construction and remodeling ideas for Jan.

Future events:
On Monday, I'm off to Detroit for a couple weeks. I'm gonna freeze.
Installing the hardwood floors (asian teak) when I get back.
No plans for Christmas or New Years yet.
Considering a new car for 2009, figure there are some good deals to be had.
