Vote Kerry, dumbass! The rest of the world will thank you.
Edit: okay, maybe that was a little harsh. But seriously, if you vote Nader and there's a recount in Wisconsin, I will personally come down there and kick your ass.
Omg, you are totally my hero! My profile pic came from ExplodingDog.com, but I actually ran across it while I was vainly looking for cartoons that apparently come from ToothpasteforDinner.com. It was driving me insane yesterday because I couldn't remember the name of the site to find them. Anyway, you rule!
To post pics in your journal: first you need to get your picture hosted somewhere online. For the purposes of posting stuff anywhere on SG, the easiest thing to do is to upload stuff into the "Pics" section of your profile. Then, open the gallery, and when you get to the picture you want to post somewhere, right click on it. If you're using Firefox (and you should be), there's an option to "copy image location". Click on that. Then, click on the link next to the smilies on your update page that says "Image". This will bring up a window where you should paste the image location. Click "OK", and you're done! I hope that helps.
seems to be my personal motto today
so tired of things just want to go to sleep
signed up for classes next semester, which will suck balls since the philosophy and spanish depts. has not one class for me on tues. or thurs. so i have all my classes one the same days totally lame ready to leave
For some strange reason I am not overly sad or freaking out any more even though the things that were making me such; being unemployed with personal nearly gone, slacking off in classes, mine and my girlfriend's relationship being very chilly as of late, haven't gone away
maybe because i feeling like Bush had a very good chance of being reelected but after watching last... Read More
Returning home from my seemingly endless job search i drove over one of the bridges in oshkosh, both sides had fishermen on them but one had white fieshermen and the other black fishermen. this with the knowledge that Milwaukee the most segregated city in the US makes me wonder why 5o years after the begining of the US civil rights movement... I've been pushing for caged death matches for years in lieu of elections in all western countries. They could put it on pay-per-view and put a big dent in our respective national debts with the profits. Oh, and Paul Martin is Canada's Prime Minister. Elections happen whenever he feels like it; every 4 years; or when the government is overthrown for some reason. Seriously. And it could actually happen any day now.
My parents live near the US border so I was listening to NPR whilst visiting them this weekend. Anyhoo... I guess there's a lot of people in your country anticipating problems on Nov. 2 with regards to black folk's names being removed from voter lists. Lame.
Yesterday was my birthday. My girlfriend, Lesley, took me to see the House on the Rock that place is hella bizzar. i can definitely picture the creator as an eccentric James Bond villian. It was fun except dealing with the Madison traffic on the way back to Oshkosh and also not getting a hold of my brothers in Madison so we could grap something to... Read More
Wow, it's been a while now.
Sunday i went home, my family was having a party for my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. I seem to get depressed every time we get together now-a-days. Mine and my brother's relationship with my Dad hasn't always been the greatest, it seems to have gotten a bit better these last couple of years now that we're all moved out.... Read More
