Man oh man. It sounded good at first but it got ugly fast. Note to self; avoid pitiful poetic doodles in public forums. This last weekend Lisa and I arranged a 12 foot closet. We built in two sets of double folding doors so you can get to every inch of it. Then we built in all these shelves and put a beautiful old beat up dresser in the middle of it. I am so lame but I got to tell you building the perfect closet was incredibly satisfying. The house is coming together and it will be our strange little paradise. Lisa has got an incredible and mystifying sense of design. She puts walls on ceilings and uses colors and surfaces like some mad genius. She explains these ideas to me but I never really understand until its finished. And Im not an idiot in these things. I can tell colonial from art deco. I can tell magenta from chartreuse. She however is in a different league. I am now proud owner of a study with an attached library alcove. The room looks like a cross between Phillip Marlowe, Gunsmoke, and Clue. But all combined in a seamless extremely comfortable room. I love it.
