I have decided I want to try a macaron.
After 3 days of internet research and the cookbook aisle at Barnes and Noble I am now more stressed out than ever. I have come to learn that even the expert french pastry chefs can't get these cookies (should I call it that?) right some days. I dare you to look up recipes online and see that no one recipe is the same as the next. And everything is measured in grams. So I try to convert to ounces and every calculator gives me a different weigh. I am still optimistic though, as I will be attempting to create at least one good batch of Macaron. Despite hearing that it is the hardest dessert to properly produce.
Wish me luck!
I'll post the results later today.
