It always bothers me to hear about situations like that. I hate seeing women in situations where they are afraid to do what they know they need to. A guy raised his hand to me ONCE, and I left and never looked back...but I know so many women that get into that "I can change him" thing. It makes me sad. I wish you could've helped her more...but as long as she doesn't admit she wants help to get out, you and no one else can do anything.
I still think you're cool, though.

I was in Albuquerque last summer for an anthropology trip with college...we went all over the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area, and visited Chaco Canyon. It was a really great trip. New Mexico is BEAUTIFUL!
