Eh, that thread was DOA anyway. I thought it was a cute idea worth sharing, but it looks like I'm alone on that one.

Speaking of serious (if not educational) games, this one also caught my eye recently:

I have a theory, one I'd love to research properly someday, that games are educational by default. That the drive to play is so strong because it's the drive to learn from simulation, and that's important preparation for future survival.
