Yeah, it's really gone to hell with a handgrenade. I just had a moment of realization today at the gas pump. I spent over $40 for the first time ever filling it up @ around $3.30/gal. (I remember grumbling about $30 with the same vehicle a few years back...) But that's besides the point. I have to use my vehicle to drive to school, but not to work. Hmm, bike anyone? Oh yea!!! Screw convenience, that's what got us (Americans) here in the first place (sitting our duffs in the lazy-boy drinking Bud (or Miller) gettin' fat while our muscles and brains atrophe and we (Americans) develop asthma from underdeveloped lungs and smog... Soon Americans will just rollover and die (taking everyone out with us "Steam-Roller! Steam-Roller!" -Ha had to get a Strange Brew line in there). What this country needs a real kick in the pants. I'm sick of all the rhetoric, how about some action. If the rest of the world can do it, so can we, it's just that the powers that be wanna make more money! (Hey, that rhymed, cool.) Then again, we could "just let it happen" and then it will be Mad Max, Water World and Disneyland all rolled into one.

Mad Max, and Water World with Disneyland all rolled into one.... Hmm..... You know what, I can hardly wait. It sounds like the best theme park ever! I know that if it ever does get that bad the first thing I'm going to do is go to Walmart, they have everything I could ever need for this kind of event. Of course you know that the whole Mad Max, Waterworld and Disney idea only works for the high budget people, the rest of us will be stuck in the forbiden zone where fleshy headed mutants roam about....
