2/14 top 5 favorite songs of all the time

I was thinking to start writing homework a long time ago but never started !but here it is the first one , my personal list for the top 5 songs of all the time .

1. Because the night- Patti Smith : I wasn't even born when this song came out , but I found myself croon it when my brother was coming to pick me up from school on the back seat of a E21 3.16 BMW , later on my teenage life when I was returning home from a wild night and still feel the revolution in my veins when I hear it on the radio .

2.Fell in love with an alien - the Kelly Family : maybe I found a way to comfort myself ,relax and give myself forgiveness every time that I had a crush with the wrong person haha

3.I follow rivers - Lykke Li : I was really in love with the movie Blue is the warmest color and I cried like a baby at the end. But the soundtrack was the perfect matching . This song will always give me the feel of a summer , of the perfect passion that you lived once but gives you a relief that belongs to the past .

4.This is love - PJ Harvey : favorite lyric of this-I can't believe that life's so complex when I just want to sit here and watch you undress-actually this is my always and forever question for the hole universe , why we have to make the simple ones so complicated .

5.Fade into you-Mazzy star : This goes me back in time , when I was with a girl that I didn't really love her but I liked the way that she did. She dedicated it to me and it was one of the most depressing moments of my life , it was the time that I realized that everyone deserves to be loved back . We break up a few hours later .

My five favourite songs are: (5): 'Come Live With Me', by Heaven 17. It's a song about, well, realising that time is going by, and you are doing silly things to stay young, despite people talking about you behind your back. It's beautiful, but achingly sad. (4): 'Uncertain Smile' by The The. One of the very few songs I can sing along to - my vocal range is very low. It's a great, catchy tune, about nothing in particular, which is fine by me. (3): 'A Walk Across The Rooftops', by The Blue Nile. A peculiar song, very quiet, but with a bass motif that will ruin your speakers. A yearning, sad love song, and a love letter to the Scottish City of Glasgow. (2): 'Sonne', by Rammstein. A deceptive song, about atomic annihilation, with a beautiful video. (1): 'Follow The Leader', by Eric B. & Rakim. A rumbling bassline is the backing to the extraordinary lyrical flow of Rakim (Greatest. Rapper. Ever. EVER), whose lyrics are simply idea after idea, after idea. I love this record so much, it's going to be played at my funeral, whenever that will be.
