Im trying again being more social over here and in general. The last year I have spent working around the clock and it seemed that the the year flew by. So, I'm back here offering any Hopeful some help getting a set up and just socializing .

Cheers :)

So, for the few cats who check up on me, I have been away for about half a year. It has been a serious self-searching, artistic re-structuring, soul-searching fun time. Not enough money also added another element to the challenge. Still standing and good stuff is coming.

I've stepped away from studio environment and artificial light, partially because my apartment is less than 24m2 and

All of the sudden, I have extra time! Yay! Mostly because I moved to Paris where I'm rusty in French (challenge accepted), my res permit with work privileges will take a while, I'm a freelance photographer who needs to start his networking and, now that there are way more SGs and Hopefuls here in Paris than Costa Rica, I want to shoot some material for

So

A lot of shit has happened since my last post...almost 4 months ago. Apparently, I a gay dude I was friends with was telling our common friends we were a fucking couple, the woman I was seeing became too worried about the age gad (8 years older)... bleh

I have planned a shoot next weekend, hopefully my first publication. Anxious as hell.

Thinking about...

Hello
It's been a long ass while since I've posted something over here. Still alive, heart still beating.

Fun news. I'm managing a model agency now. It's awesome and I get to work with some awesome models. The bad part is that I make little to no money because of the shit market here. Just means a LOT of more work, but there's the satisfaction...

Hey hey

It's been a while since my last post. Lots have happened. I've decided to start a production house with a friend here in my country with the help of a few others, but sometimes it feels like we bear the biggest part of the operation. I have a part-time job interpreting over the phone with a company...which leads me to ask, how the...

So you're a pro photographer, a polyglot, AND are qualified appropriately to work at the UN?? Who are you, superman?? Your life sounds grand!

Australia has ghettos too. frown Don't really know how one could stop it, and our refugee situation only increases racial tensions.

As for me? Hmm. I'm ok. Bumbling along. Life's not exciting yet, but I'm working on it!
hyatt:
Gosh, you really work hard for your money! Are you on Zivity? Many don't make much from there, but I think the truly talented photographers make significant earnings from it. smile

Hello hello

A few things:

There's this one band, Henna, from Costa Rica. Awesome music. They played an acoustic concert at one of my favourite cafs in Costa Rica (since I'm a coffee whore this means a BIG mug of tasty coffee for a reasonable price). Any who, a third or so of this footage is mine.

This is my cousin. He wanted a photo...

Nice. I had an R60/2 and used to ride a friends R69S/2 with a Stieb car. Really fun, old tech bikes. The frames were the last BMW made using thick wall, (relatively) low carbon steel tubing and the motors were little jewels; roller bearing crankshafts, gear driven camshaft, sand cast cases. Mine had a Denfeld solo seat with a Denfeld passenger seat on the factory rack while my friends had a beautiful US made solo seat in leather on a low spring mount and a Reynolds rack on the back.

Looking forward to seeing your shoot results.

I will def let you know about those photos tongue

I'd love to have an R50, german friend of mine told me a mint one in Ger costs around 12.000Euros. And these guys have 4. I might get a Harley 883 Iron, second hand (need to save up cause we have insane import taxes in Costa Rica)
