Well people, the move is complete. That is right, I am no longer in Kansas but now a resident of Arizona. Up in the mountains, but I really like it here so far. Weather is so much better than Kansas and I have already done two shoots for the local paper, one of President Biden and Air Force 1 landing at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport, and the second of Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top at the Talking Sticks Resort Amp., with my third shoot tonight at the Findlay Toyota Center, where I will be photographing the band Chicago.
It is a little weird being down here, after spending my entire life up there in the Kansas City Metro area. Like hearing both bands from this past weekend giving shout outs to Phoenix and Arizona instead of Kansas City. I will have to get used to that one for sure. And I am still trying to find my way around the area, but that will come with time. But the landscape around here is just gorgeous.
All in all, I am adjusting, and hope that things will become easier sooner rather than later, but for that only time will tell.
