Yesterday, I ended up doing a thing, a good thing, a fun thing. Yesterday I was under the needle for two and a half hours and got this done.
For those of you who cannot read the script, it simply states:
"L'art est la voix de la liberté"
That is French for "Art is the voice of Freedom".
These are words that I honestly believe in. I did it in french because, as an Undergraduate student, I got my BA in Art History, and I honestly believe that it was after the last French Revolution, right before the start of Impressionism, was when art stopped being about making pretty things and shit for the government, but more for the people and to document what really happened and the view from the people's point of view. I think my dude Dalton at The Ink Parlor in Kansas City, MO, did a fantastic job.
