The weather is clearing up but the forecast is still dreary for the rest of the week. Hope the weekend will be nice.
Rainy days bring out the worst in me. I get moody, sometimes irritable, sometimes depressed, but mostly I escape into my little world. My past. Memories of days gone past. And the many lost loves in my life. Those I had a crush on, but was too shy and timid to act upon. And the times I did act, but managed to say and do all the wrong things. I used to be quite the naive little boy. Now I have nothing but bitter sweet memories and a tinge of regret. I wonder, what if things had gone differently, how different my life now would be.
I've had my share of heartbreak, but the past is just that. Past and gone forever. Time to wake up and live life in the present and prepare for the future.
