I've had a few more photosets go into MR since that last big blog, so here are some sneak previews. I'm fairly excited to see these go up.
@countessa - Heliotrope - due in Member Review about mid October
We shot this one in Adelaide on our recent trip....and had a lot of fun with me trying to hold the reflector and camera at the same time. Having an assistant definitely helps!
As for the name, Heliotrope is not only a gnarly shade of purple, but it more literally describes anything or anyone who keeps their face turned towards the sun....something that definitely describes Countessa.
@unicorn - Blue Streak - also out in mid-October
This one was shot at the Unicorn shootfest (this is the second set from the day). I'll have to post some outtakes from this shoot later (there's one of Countessa wrestling with Unicorn's knickers while getting the arrangement just right). And then we had to get the car back into the shed (it was out of petrol and wouldn't start)....which took all three of us and a run up to get the wheels up the lip of the shed door.....it's a much heavier car than it looks! It's an MG roadster....I won't say what the year or model is, because I'll probably be wrong and Unicorn will mock me haha.
@mouse - Tale of Tom Kitten
We shot this in one of Canberra's many secret abandoned parks. It's amazing just how much lawn Canberra has, and how much of it is barely used. Even then, one or two people wandered through (no brown snakes this time) but Mouse was brave and took it all in her stride. Countessa was on hand to cover her up in a big 'flasher' coat....which I think was a good sisterly bonding experience!
