I am going to try and cram a lot of stuff into this tiny little text box now. Let's see how I go. The last blog was fairly successful so let's see if I can put dozens of pictures into a blog.
There's been a bit of an avalanche of new Aussie hopefuls as well as SuicideGirls shooting new sets. @puffin has done an awesome job introducing new folk to the site, and I think SGs marketing on social media has done pretty well too. Then there is @countessa's huge effort putting together the Sydney recruitment party at Hot Damn where myself, @puffin and @nekophilliac will be shooting and signing up applicants. Here is the poster.
If you're not coming to this, change your plans, sort your shit, and come along. Especially if you're in Sydney. This is the biggest official SG event in Australia since the Burlesque tour back in 2006. @puffin and I will be shooting sets all weekend in a swanky hotel with the assistance of @countessa, @peggysue, and @christina. There are still spots available if anyone hasn't booked a spot yet.
In the meantime, we have been very busy shooting sets over the past couple of months. Here are a few previews.....
We shot this way back in March, but I am very happy to say that it will be on the frontpage soon and @puffin is now a SuicideGirl. Not many people deserve it as much as she does!

Two pics from @nekophilliac's set Evening Rhapsody, which we shot in the venue for the 2013 SGAU Annual Ball (more on that later).
@maddame let us shoot @aubreyx on her balcony at the Ball Venue with the awesome Mark Foys building in the background. My great-great-uncle once pulled apart Mark Foy's car and couldn't put it back together again. Had to be sent back to Sydney on the train.
While we were shooting those two sets, @puffin was off shooting @quentiin in the main part of the ballroom. Very much looking forward to seeing it.
That same week we had a mini-shootfest in Canberra with @thefuckoffkid lending us his flat, and @allura helping out with advice, set direction and champagne, and @christina bringing the most amazing brownies I have ever tasted.
First we shot @twiggythespider.
Then we shot @christina.
After that we shot @countessa and @christina together, but there are no previews yet ;)
A couple of days later I shot @countessa in our half empty new house. The set is inspired by a statement by Adolf Loos in the early 20th century that 'If a tattooed man dies out of prison, it is only because he has not yet had time to commit his crime.'
A few days @countessa and I hung out with @christina, @aubreyx and @chellasuicide (all the way from yankeeland) and shot some stuff for Zivity and for SG.

I was also going to put some pictures from the SGAU 2013 Ball in this post, but the album is playing up so I can't save any pics to upload. Instead, I'm going to link to @benjiwa's blog. BenjiWA wrote a fair bit about the Ball, and pretty much summed up everything I love about SGAU and the awesome people I've met through it, and the awesome party we have every year that is basically the highlight of my year.
