I have dicovered both good and bad things. First, as I feared, Souls broke up some time ago. Cecilia Nordlund, however, whose voice might recall my gushing over just one post ago, and one other member of Souls have joined up with two others to create the band Monkeystrikes. It's just virtually impossible to actually get any of their music stateside. Still, there is hope....

I am so addicted to Souls right now it is nowhere near funny. My mind had forgotten the impact Cecilia Nordlund, the Swedish songstress from the band, tended to have on it. Even before the CD actually arrived in the mail I found myself humming long-forgotten melodies that had somehow gotten stuck in my head to myself, fairly surprised that a song from so long...

I was just invited to the fiftieth anniversary of old neighbors of mine where they will celebrate their years of happiness by renewing their marraige vows. Does anyone else find doing so under these circumstances odd? I understand a couple renewing their vows after being separated or riding out an affair, but people do this to celebrate their marraige on auspiscious anniversary's more and more....

I've been away for a while and I could well be for some time. This is partly due to the twenty-one hours (seven classes) I'm signed up for this semester and partly because Glitch is currently very ill. The rest can be summed up by saying things are somewhat crazy at the moment. A full explanation will have to wait. I actually have several unfinished...

I woke up this morning planning on making pancakes using the very last egg in the house, the existance of which another family member had cast into doubt. After securing the precious ingredient I said something along the lines of "Aw yeeeah" proceeded by something along the lines of "yeeeah, yeeeah, yup yup yeeeah," as I went in search of the measuing cup. I don't...

Not at all. The internet is a terrible form of expression, so I tend to not judge anyone by what they say on it... unless it's obvious, like if someone were to say something like "I hate black people'. Then yeah, I think it's safe to assume they're an asshole.
Gah. I would not worry about the papers I have due soon if it were not for all the distractions. It honestly seems I cannot go without five miunutes without some talking to/calling/IMing me. I swear, I need my very own fortress of solitude. Accordingly, if I seem to disappear for a while, you now know why.
Also, my birthday went well. My thanks for...

I'm at a, not wholey unfamiliar, point right now where everything I want to write is coming out wrong. I don't mean it gets misinterpreted because I'm not writing my thoughts clearly, rather my thought won't come out in any satisfactory way. I'll have a notion in mind, write it down, while going back and re-writing entire sentances along the way, and find the whole...

I was going to write about my obsession with green tea, but I cannot shake from my mind the detainees in Guantanamo, some of whom have been proven innocent by military tribunals thanks to the writ of Habeus Corpus, have had their writ of Habeus Corpus suspended. Instead, I offer a moment of silence to the justice that has died.

This year my friends seem to have gotten into the habit of throwing everyone who's had a birthday a surprise birthday party. Needless to say they've had to get more and more insidious with each surprise, as some level of suspicion I can only imagine had naturally arisen in the birthdayee's mind. If not, I wonder what is wrong with them. Now, you see, my...

I had a longer post here about several things, but Firefox erred, shut down, and lost the whole thing. It's really what I deserve, I suppose, for breaking my own rule about writing anything to be posted online first in some program that will let you save as you write and saving as you write. I've been guilty of breaking that (particularly useful) rule entirely...

Due to a combination of light therapy whose workings I do not fully understand and an odd cream that left my hand feeling cold for a good hour after it was applied, my wrist is doing well. Fortunately carpal-tunnel has not yet made my permanent aquaintance.
On to less cheerful notes I am financially ruined now and forever I am sure. Why is this you...

Weird therapies are the best. Rolfing cured my back pain!
And you're writing a thesis... eekkk... I hate that time of year. Still it'll be over soon enough.
Stuart Price is in a band called Zoot Woman and is also Jaques le Cont. I just want him as an ornamental christmas decoration. Do you think he'd be fine with that? I mean, I too could share brownies with him.

I've been meaning to update for some time and have a good deal to say, however, my right wrist is killing me, I swear, I'm going to have carpal-tunnel syndrome by the time I graduate from all the papers I've been writing. I want to at least briefly comment on a few things. First, Gromit is awesome. If you have not seen his new movie...
