Hopefully we will be hearing from the seller soon to see if he is going to agree to fix the things we want him to....

Last week, I got a quote for home owners insurance through State Farm, which is where I have my car insurance. Well, it came to my attention that it was waaaay too high and was refered to another place. And I figured, heck, if they want to overcharge me for that, maybe they are overcharching me on my car insurance too. Yup. They were. This new home owners insurance quote is less than 1/2 of what State Farm quoted me and my car insurance will be about $100 cheaper too! Oh, Missy's car insurance is going to be like $400 cheaper also! Woo hoo! This is fantastic news for us!!!!

I rarely go to my State Farm agent's office, but when I saw the "I support Bush and the troops" sign in their window, I should have known to cancel it right then. Needless to say, I don't feel one single bit bad about leaving them. In fact, I feel better about not supporting them!

So if there is a lesson in this, I guess it's "shop around", you never know when the company you have been with for over 13 years decides to take advantage of you.
