Great line of the moment:
Whose impresario berates your perdition?
---
Just bought a bit more Guv'ner, Innocence Mission, and Big Sound Authority.
Additionally considering stealing brother's City Boy records.
---
I miss Pizzicato Five, I surely do.
I have such a huge portion of their catelogue to find that it will take me a great deal of effort, energy, and economic resources to listen to most of their legacy.
---
I am finally working on recompiling and burning some mixes I had written down. I hope to get done by tonight.
I kind of miss making mix tapes though. Maybe I'll get a tape deck soon.
---
Suddenly I have this urge to listen to all the albums of my favorite 4AD period: 90-96.
Lush: Split
His Name is Alive: Stars on ESP
Cocteau Twins: Heaven or Las Vegas
Pale Saints: In Ribbons
Red House Painters: Ocean Beach
Dead Can Dance: Into the Labyrinth
Bettie Serveert: Palomine
Air Miami: Me, Me, Me
This Mortal Coil: Blood
Kendra Smith: Five Ways of Disappering
Swoon...

Continually adding to this post is quite nice, if I do say so myself.
Filing income tax, especially when you work as sporadically as I do, is craptastic.
I am just glad they don't ask how much change I have in my empty Ben and Jerry's container.
The girl who lives upstairs is a rather interesting character. She is friendly. While having religious conviction, the woman upstairs seems to also be into some of the typical trends of the school, in moderate doses.
There was the obligatory tongue piercing, though that is gone because it is frowned upon when working, as well as a tattoo, from what I observed.
The neighbor to my left is a friendly fellow, but we do not talk as often, despite getting along rather well. The matter deals mainly with this other set of people who formerly were on friendly terms with me. They are not quite on such terms at this moment.
The person who lived across the way from me moved out, his mother was sick and he needed to go back home because of the emergency. He was sort of needy, neurotic, but a stout fellow.
I am the guy who spends his time away from everyone and does not clean his room that often.

palomine was 4AD? i thought it was matador. I prefer "Lamprey;"...hmmm, i think i'm going to put Ray Ray Rain on my next mix, what a great song. Did i tell you i went to 4AD and hung out with Vaughan Oliver for an afternoon?
linz:
i like the selections on your mix. i have never heard the "oblivious" song. is it worth a download?
