That'd be right!! I finally sign up to the site and then I have zero time to update my shit and make friends.. Anyway, been pretty busy doing uni stuff, just had to do a huge presentation last week, got a rather large lab report due on monday, as well as 2 exams that same day with 1 hour in between. Then another 2 assignments due on friday. Then a week off for study, then 3 exams over 2 weeks, and in between I gotta start my summer lab project and get that done before the 1st december because I gotta go have an operation to get my ribs realigned because I was in a car crash 3 years ago and they healed crooked and "impair my breathing and digestive capacity".

Thoroughly depressing isn't it???

But the really really terrific news is that I don't have to get really good marks for anything, i just have to pass because earlier this week I was offered a full PhD scholarship at the University of Queensland, one of Australias most prestigous universities!!!! Yay me!! And the project is really cool as well - Analysis of Protein Components of Australian Snake Venoms... So if I accept I'm gonna be spending the next 3 years working with the 2nd deadliest snake in the world - Pseudonaja textilis or the Australia Brown Snake, extracting it's venom and purifying & characterising proteins...

Ok I'll stop now.... See why I haven't written much???? I'm going out this weekend for a cocktail party - $20 all you can drink so I'll hopefully have some more entertaining tales then...
