I just wrote a long blog post about my birthday, and why I don't bother celebrating it anymore.
Then my cat walked across my keyboard and managed to delete it.

I know I haven't been around much lately.

But yeeeesh, life! What a pain in the ass!

On the plus side, I have a new laptop.

On the on the un-plus side, I managed to leave my phone on my car, drove off, it fell of, and now I need a new phone.

They were a very sweet couple, both in their 70s. They've known each other for 40 years, been together for 20. He proposed last week, on her birthday. They decided it was time to be married, so they didn't wait.

It was an honor to be the one to officially join them together.

So tomorrow, I'm officiating a wedding. First one in a decade, and the first one for someone in not related to.

Back on SG after almost a decade away, and I'm already slacking on the posts. Lot of unexpected shit happening lately, and none of it good. So I do what I always do, deal with it while withdrawing into myself. Once the holidays are over, well, things might not get better right away, but at least there will be less stress and seasonal depression.

Since the last time I had a membership, things have definitely changed in my life.

The big change I'll talk about today is my job.
