Cool! Thanks for all the concern everyone.
Jam, I'll AIM you in the near future.
Here's an update of my life:
Today was a pretty good day. I found out that we're going to start a new project at work on Tuesday. Projects are always the most exciting in the beginning. That's when we get to be creative... designing the circuits, choosing the architecture... I don't know... the fun stuff I guess. Projects are least fun towards the end... everyone's frantic, blaming others for last-minute problems, pulling all-nighters trying to fix those problems so we can meet the deadline. We happen to be finishing up a design this week, I think it's due on Monday... maybe if we can get a note from a doctor, we can get an extension.
What else is new? I went to an Mexican restaurant tonight. I was looking for authenticity so I went to the Mexican side of town. All I can say is that if were a Mexican, I would be pretty pissed off at "the Man" for bringing me down.
The rich get richer. The poor get poorer. I'm really sorry it's that way. I don't know what I can DO about it as an individual. I guess I can vote for candidates willing to help the underpriviledged. I'll tell you one thing though, I definately don't want to be on the poor side. So, in the meantime, I'm going to work very hard to ensure that I never will be. I'm quite worried about retirement. By the time I get to be an old geezer, there will be no more social security thanks to the reckless nature of the Baby Boomer generation. Don't tell anyone this, but next Fall my firm will have an IPO. My sneaky plan is to buy low and sell high. That's a little trick I learned in Econ 101.
I had long day. I'm tired. I should turn in for the night. I feel like I should do something reckless though since my wife is out of town. Maybe I'll watch "Pi" with directors commentary turned "ON!"
