No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did he would cease to be an artist.
~Wilde
Well, Im just spellbound. Its like being at the edge of your seat watching a movie, but the movie is your life. Eh, Ill spare the details cause they cease to be interesting once you know what they are. I will say this, there is always more to come.
Or I could just be incredibly optimistic.
Stupid postitive attitude.
So, I wish I had some good advice for you. You, yes you, I know you are reading this and you could use some good advice. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. It took me the longest time to figure out what the hell that meant. Why would I keep my birds in a bush? Or in my hand? Couldnt I just have a birdcage like everyone else? But fuck that, Im never keeping a bird in a cage again, its too depressing. I had a parakeet when I was a kid. I had to clip his wings so he couldnt fly. Id let him out of his cage and hang out with him, but whenever he tried to fly off hed just flutter to the ground. One day we came home and he had somehow gotten out of his cage and our cat attacked him, he had a broken wing and punctures everywhere. He survived, though, but not thanks to being able to fly.
So there, positive attitude quelled.
It is silent in my room,
the light of the night
outlining shapes in my drapes.
And the sound of the river
cars going hither and thither,
pushing all night into the future.
And the ambient echos of four strange fellows
sitting down,
drinking beer,
and laughing at the wall.
And the charge in the air is like the cure for despair,
it is like something that can easily be done.
I swoon, I rejoice, and I remember
that choice,
but how to keep it makes me very unclever.
I drug, find a bug, and never let go of the
easy mind, paralyzed, ego sized power lines.
