I'm in the Denver area tonight and I'm hanging out with some of my favorite people. I also had a client today and drove four hours from the mountain hideaway, went to HIghlands Ranch, Boulder, Golden, and Littleton (in that order). The city is kind of overwhelming even though I've only been living out in the sticks for a few months. I think I'm a country girl now.
My cars heater died about three hours away from Denver, and I really need to get it fixed before I try to drive back over the mountains, so we'll see what happens with that.
Tomorrow I'm going to Illinois to see my grandma who is dying. Family stuff can be stressful but it will be good to see her before she goes.

and isn't that just typical of heaters? they won't go off in the summer and won't turn on in the winter. i guess that's what clothes are for, at the end of the day.
i hope you find a sense of being at peace when you go see your grandma, if you're feeling anything but.
