Wow, the first sitting of my back piece was intense. My two artist, Joel and Pee Wee at Bolder Ink, drew on my back for about 45 minutes, then I sat for about 2.5 hours of ink. It was deffinitely more painful than my chestpiece. At one point they tried to offer me vikadin and beer, both of which I declined. They were super rad and smoked me out a bunch. Next sitting I'm going to try taking some herbal muscle relaxants to help not move or tense while they are working, which is a problem I've never had before.
Here is a pic of the work I got done. Its three days old, and I'm still bruised, especially around the top. Nicer pics will come in a few weeks.
There is still a ton more outlining to be done, then color, then background. Yikes!! I almost can't wait for it to be done, but on the other hand I know how much blood and pain it will cost, so I'm happy about doing it slowly over the next 8-12 months.
