This will be a short list. It's just a personal list of things that calm me and make me happy,
1. Coffee. I read this article about the health benefits of coffee and it said that is you drink at least 3 cups a day it helps with anxiety and depression in females and I've definitely known that since I started drinking it in high school.
2. Weed. I'm sorry but it's true, my non smoker friends even tell me I am significantly less anxious when I smoke regularly. And it's ridiculous that it's not 100% legal everywhere.
3. Taking photos. As an artistic person I need my outlet or else my emotions just get bottled up.
4. Spending time with my cat, with my family, my boyfriend, and my good friends.
5. Working out. I've started training for a 5k and since I've started running every day I've noticed a difference in my anxiety throughout the day. Going on a run while angry or anxious has given me the best times.
6. I know there are more things but this is a working list also I love this website and I love my jobs. I also like drinking red wine to calm down.
