read the article, and was moved to sign your petition. I could go into a long diatribe about my past and why this kind of shit pisses me off, but i won't. Let's just say 'this kind of shit pisses me off' and leave it at that.
on a brighter note, hope your holiday was good. Christmas for me will be great. I'm a long-distance father (not my choice) to a 14 y/o son, and this is one of about 8 weeks out of the year i get to be a "real" father. So yes, i am looking foward to it. needless to say though, i won't get to go out for the new year, which is ok.
so, do you have any interesting plans? hey, you might find this cool. though I am not going out, I do have theater tickets for new years day. MOVIN' OUT is going to be in town, i'm really excited about seeing it. believe it or not norfolk has a pretty good theater scene. lot's of small regional theaters in town, plus they have a beautiful theater that attracts most of the Broadway shows that are on the road. Last year I saw RENT, THE PRODUCERS, and GREASE. so yes, though not going out friday night, I do have plans for the holiday.
