Hi everyone. I'm back from my week of depression. I switched up my meds and am feeling much better. I missed a good bit of class, so I'm still working on making it up.
I keep seeing that Smirnoff commercial where the guy looks out of his window and sees all these people outside calling him to come out - the Las Vegas showgirls, football fans, and clubbers. The commercial ends with that "Life is calling" screen. I've been cooped up in the house for a long while now, and I need to go out and have a good time. Anyone feel like coming and rescuing me?
EDIT: I forgot to mention this before.... Does anyone else remember Captian Planet? I used to watch that show religiously when I was little. Anyway, I was channel surfing around 5:30 yesterday morning, and it was on!! Apparently, Cartoon Network plays it every weekday morning! I'm so excited! I always loved the Planeteers - I had a crush on Wheeler, and I wanted to be Linka. But I always thought that Ma-Ti got ripped off. Everyone else had cool powers (earth, fire, wind, water), and Ma-Ti got stuck with Heart. Heart doesn't do anything! Poor guy. Oh well.
I'll leave you with the Planeteer rap that plays on the end of each show:
