I went to critical mass yesterday. It was pretty cool. There were quite a few people there but probably not as big as the San Fran critical mass. We were able to stop traffic though. The cops didn't fuss at all, which was pretty funny. They just rode behind the crowd for a few minutes, turned on their sirens for all of us to stop but no did, the cops also kept asking who was in charge, no one answered. Then they went away. Everyone on the streets were pretty cool even the cars behind the bikers except for one guy in a mini-van trying to speed to nowhere. The guy even jumped out of his car ranting and raving, he said "I'm a security guard! Move out of the way!". That was halarious. What a dummy. I don't think you want to agitate a crowd of 36 Anarchists, punks, and skaters that already hate authority figures. I guess the "security guard" realized this then wimpered away into his mini van, but once he was in his mini-van his ego came back to him and he peeled out off a side street. We got more cheers and one leer. I guess people are fed up with speeding idiot drivers in their mini-van's, gas guzzling SUV's and Honda racers. Oh, another awesome thing was that the crowd met other bikers that weren't part of the initial bike massive, they just joined along the way and the crowd got a little bigger. Everyone at the mass was really cool, I saw some really bad-ass bikes too and even Greggster from SGSAC was there. It was a good day.

Glad to see that you made it to critical mass. I'll have to go one of these times. I just need to learn to ride a bicycle first.
