Since I had to work today, I was planning to go out and take some picture Sunday, so last night, I got my camera out to make sure my battery was charged and whatnot. I turned it on and tried to take a picture and got a bad compact flash card error. I opened it up and it was my new 4GB card. Well hell, I put in my old 2GB card, it was a slower speed but oh well, I wasnt planning on doing any rapid fire shooting anyway. I tried to take a picture again and got the same error. I looked up the error on Canons website, did everything they suggested and guess what? My camera is broke. Im going to have to send it in and the out of warranty repair charge is estimated (and only estimated) to be $210. And you know what that means? I have no camera for god knows how long. This is actually freaking me out a little. Its probably going to be at least a couple of months before I can scrape that much together. I was planning to order a roll of template material so I can start cutting my stencils for my airbrush tattoo business; I had hope to start doing at least some small events this summer and I needed my camera to take pics of models, uh, well, modeling my tats to use for my promotional material. This really suck. Tonight, I raise a toast to my poor Canon Rebel XTi. You may be down but not for long if I have anything to say about it. I think Im going to have to start selling off personal property. Hey, anyone want to buy an electric guitar setup?
