The second sitting is in the books, and the terrible bastardization of the Erte sketch is gone baby gone. Next time will probably be the last of the outline and background. We'll begin workng on the large black sections, including the cover-up of the 2nd poorly executed tattoo.
Gotta say: it's kind of weird seeing something that's been a part of me for quite a few years disappear in an afternoon. I had a moment of Twilight Zone panic when I realized that the two tattoos had not, in fact, been removed, but had merely been covered. What if they become angry with my decisions and with me and choose to lash-out or (worse) lash-in? I could be in a world of trouble. All I can hope is, in the event of spiritual electric needle backlash, Watanabe and Oni can put aside their differences and take care of business.
Hell hath no fury like a covered tattoo's scorn.
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I had to put her
Six feet under
And I can still hear her complain
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I knew I miss her
So I had to keep her
She's buried right in my back yard
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
She bitched so much
She drove me nuts
And now I'm happier this way
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I used to love her, but I had to kill her
I had to put her
Six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

Soon the ocean will be crossed and four feet (2 full-sized and ravageable, 2 small and tickleable) will return home. Black boots, beaten but never broken, will touch the same soil. Hearts will feel eachother's beat and arms will open for the first time of what I'm sure will be many. Travel well. Welcome home.

Put the lotion in the fuuucking basket, bitch, put the lotion in the baaaasket . . .
When I lived in LA, I worked at a restaraunt in West Hollywood, and Ted Levine came in. I kept saying (in Buffalo Bill's voice) "It puts the appetizers on the table." and "I'd fuck me. I'd fuck me so hard."
The best part was that I was the only guy who recognized him; my co-workers had no idea what the fuck I was talking about.

More modern D&D art.
From the ooooold school, this guy was one of the reasons that I decided I wanted to draw when I grew up.
Woah.
He was the one great guy you have on every staff (you probably didn't meet that guy, cuz he would have been you) who actually takes the time to see if the kitchen needs anything
Best. Compliment. Evar.
