I am way overdue to update you, my loyal readers (ha!).

My summer this year involved...winter. Ten days of powdery awesomeness skiing in Niseko, Japan. It seems to have become the favourite place for Aussies to hang at this time of year, but even the presence of my uncouth countrymen could not detract from the great time that was had.

Words cannot describe just how good it was, so pictures will have to suffice.

I urge you North American to stick your Rockies and Sierra Leone and leave Asia's best offerings to those more local.

Anyway, my returned to Sydney was just in time to experience the record breaking run of 8 days over 30 degrees (86 for the North Americans). Yesterday, the mercury tipped 41 (about 106). And that was at the beach!

Thankfully the cool change has come through tonight and brought some beautiful rain with it.

So onwards into the week.
