my world is made of cables and wires.
power cords, extension cords, phone cords, power strips, speaker wire, antenna wires, firewires, XLR's, RCA's, 1/4"s, coaxial cables, DSL cables, 8-line cable snakes, wall-warts with various weird adaptors on them, christmas lights, and more and more and more
two-prong - three-prong - XLR to TRS - signal amplifiers - adaptors - convertors
and right now i want to get rid of them all, along with all of the brackets and staples and zip-ties and heat-shrink and solder that holds them together -- except then i'd be plunged into darkness and silence.
and sometimes i think about finding a way to make as much of it wireless as possible, although with everything that i have in here, i'm afraid that i'd end up microwaved or something.
and this is what i think about every time i'm forced to try and find a better way to arrange my rooms.

I would have to say that is generally sound advice, and generally how I deal with things. But yesterday the final nail in the coffin of the best relationship of my life with the boy I'm still in love with was driven in deep. He and my hopes are moving to Utah in less than 2 weeks, and there is no way to lighten up over that, unfortunately.
Thanks, though.
