I'm a Film Intrepeter at a foundry. We x-ray our castings and I get read the film to make sure that there is no internal defects in the parts. I'm basically a Blue-coller Inspecter. Job wise, over the last year we have laid off over a third of the people who worked there. I've only kept my job so far because I'm in a spot that nobody wants. My only advice right now is get any job that you can now, then you can concentrate on getting a job that's more to your liking. The economy is sucking hard and all of the good jobs are being held by people who are fearing there future.

Oh heck I forgot. Awesome poem. I thought I was reading song lyrics. I googled it to see who it was by. Zero hits. Then it hit me that it was YOURS.

There is something wrong with minimart clerks in this town. I used to have a California license, one clerk told me that it was a fake and threatened to call security, another told me it was a fake and then said CA IDs aren't valid in Oregon. So i started carrying my passport, and of course people had a problem with that. One idiot clerk opened it up to the german visa sticker on the inside, became convinced it was a german passport and got pissy, bouncers at several bars told me i needed another form of ID in addition to a passport and of course half the clerks who looked at it spent 5 finutes trying to find the first page with the picture on it.
So in order to have the rights that other citizens have i had to get an oregon driver's license.
