This is just way too hard. Damn near impossible because my favorites change every day. My iPod is always on shuffle, and whatever I'm listening to usually mirrors my mood at that moment. I guess I'll put these in no particular order.
1. "Visions of Johanna" - BobDylan. Such a great tune, and it's pretty mysterious because which woman is he singing about? No one may ever know.
2. "Jungleland" - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. The piano in the intro gives me goosebumps every time.
3. "Hallelujah" - Jeff Buckley. I love the original by Leonard Cohen, but Buckley's version is kinda haunting. Another goosebumps tune. Always makes me wish I had a woman in my life to share it with. I love putting this one on the turntable, and getting lost in my headphones for about 6 minutes & 40 seconds.
4. "Try A LittleTenderness" - Otis Redding. The Mad Man from Macon is probably my favorite performer that I'll never get to see. Love singing this one in the car.
5. "45" - The Gaslight Anthem. This one got me through 2 months in the hospital, and the toughest time of my life...so far.
