Well, I'm back for the time being. Had a busy busy week initiating the band and getting all the elements together. Tonight's our first gig, and we'll be at Arriba every saturday, so whoever would like to come......uhh.....well, come. It's on 281 and St. Mary's.
Aside from that I've been ecstatic considering my iPod Photo came in a couple of days ago and I've been listening to that nonstop. Ahhh, the pleasures of tuning out the world are truly wonderful. It's funny how adding a soundtrack to your day can completely change your view on life. Music is truly an amazing gift.
On a completely unrelated topic, a friend and I are road-tripping up to LA for spring break, and I have no itinerary and nothing planned. Those of you who know your way around up there, any insight or help or places to visit would be of great service. I'm looking for good venues, good bookstores (preferably dealing with more esoteric subjects) and just places to hang out and forget that 4 billion people inhabit this crazy, blue sphere. Times like these I'm glad to be alive.

EDIT: Wish me luck on my Berklee College of Music app. I'm getting accepted/rejected at the end of the month. Eeek.
