ok so i just watched the million dollar motion picture "Sahara" tonight. it was so much funnier than i could have possibly imagined
the premise is that mathew mccognehey (spelleng?... do i care?) is a naval historian who finds a civil war ship that had been sailed from the coast of virginia to... (wait for it) THE SAHARA DESERT, which, as the movie repeats, was under water 150 years ago.
along the way they save the local Nigerian population from toxic waste as well as the rest of the world from a deadly red algae
funniest movie ive seen in a long time

"Punks not dead, it just deserves to die
when it becomes another stale cartoon."
Please Kill Me is a good read. The Ramones: an american band is good to read after it. My favorite is We've Got the Neutron Bomb. Its about the L.A. scene. I'd follow that one with Lexicon Devil (a soon to be movie on the Germs)
