Ok, well... I had my day of bellyaching and I feel slightly better now. Things always tend to work out somehow, it just seems totally out of control sometimes.
And whatever, even if I don't get to go to school, big deal. Tons of people who don't get to go to school do just fine.
On the upside this has given me some time to catch up on cooking and cleaning and baking and brewing and all the other housewifey things that I really enjoy anyhow. It's quite weird. I actually really enjoy doing the dishes. Most people absolutely can't stand doing dishes but I find it really relaxing, just stading there listening to the water run; it's like a shower, for your dishes. Weird, huh?
Little known fact (maybe): in the 17th and 18th centuries beer was not something that was brewed or distibuted on a mass scale. It was actually thought of as a woman's job and the majority of beer that was brewed at that time period was brewed, by housewives, for consumption by the family.

I just finished a wonderful biography of Washington.
If you like Washington, or if you don't suck, I reccomend this highly entertaining video from the internet:
Also,
Give me a little 'hoff and some barrelhousing rock n roll and I'm a happy man. I realize I end to be at least 6 months late on the ol' youtube fads so I implore you, dear readers, to respond with some good youtubes.

the thing about school is, yes, a lot of people who don't go end up doing well in life anyway.. and a lot of people who DO go end up working at shitty desk jobs forever because said desk jobs provide health insurance and a steady paycheck.
(cue another panic attack about how my life is going nowhere)
Well I'm sure you've heard that Hilly Crystal (father of CBGB) passed away today (or yesterday by now?). Carumba. Well now I have to dig up that shirt and wear it to work tomorrow...and my CB's bracelet too.
Oh anyway...CB's closed I believe late last year. The last show was Patti Smith & I believe tickets were $900. I'm not kidding.
Anyhooo. Sorry for being lame-I work 6 days now AND in New Jersey (I live in NY) so, I don't have much air-time.
My bday is next week! You have my address, please make me a card? I would like that.
