today i called off work for the first time in a long long time. it was my first time ever for this job.
i always feel like a slacker when i dont show up to work. im not even sick. i just cant sleep at all. 2-3 hours of restless sleep a night is really not enough for me to function properly. i dont know whats wrong with me. its like every couple of weeks my body will freak out and refuse to let me fall asleep.
This christmas went pretty well. i dont really celebrate christmas, and i dont give gifts. everyone that knows me knows this, and most of them dont buy me gifts anymore. i only got a gift from one person this year which i consider a success, esspecially since it was a re-gift.
i think it was something like 75 here on christmas day. fucking unreal.
my friend and i also conceived the idea for, and wrote the large majority of a christmas album. we unfortunately could not record it since our friend borrowed some of the equipment. oh well, maybe for next year.

1 cup powdered milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1/3 cup cocoa mix to 1 cup boiling water.
