So it hits me, the reality of it, the quantifiable proof of it.
If I do not pass go, do not collect $200 (get a job) I don't know if I can afford to live here in Portland.
Not in the sense, "oh, this town is pricey, but the fact I will have 0 dollars."
I applied all around today, sent emails to video stores, grocery stores, craigslist, everything.
I just need fulltime at $12.50 an hour to make it. And I need the economy to get better, like, tomorrow.
Where do I go if I don't get anything? If I go to Indianapolis I won't have a car (don't think it can make it back across the country, in the winter no less) and the prospects'll probably be worse out there.
ARRRGH!
Damn Economy, why do I listen to you so? Why must I track your comings and goings so religiously... scare myself to sleep every night?
