Happy New Year Everyone!
I wish you all the best for the new year.
I went back home to Indianapolis and saw the old factory where my friends and I had studios. It was recently purchased by the city to make into office space for state and city departments. To see it in such a state was kind of heartbreaking, but at the same time monumental. I was there at the beginning of the thing which came to be known in Indy as "The Factory," and here I am at its end (on Christmas Eve no less).
My friends, together comprising "Ghastly Cave" standing in the place where they used to screen their posters, but now the walls and structure have been removed. The American Apparel of time has been shrugged off and memories lurch around them like sick ghost ships underwater and the coins you find can't buy an extra life.
