Quote for the Day: "We're from the FAA, and we're not happy until you're not happy."

Commercial license test coming up soon, and I have no idea how I'm going to do. I know that I know everything and can do everything I need to do to pass, I just have trouble doing it with an authority figure standing there looking over my shoulder just...

Hey, that's very cool that you are going for a commercial license!

I just recently have been researching flying lessons and I really want to do it... but it is SO expensive and unfortunately my credit is shot. But there's like ten flight schools near me by the Van Nuys airport and I REALLY would love to learn to fly... I envy you!

I think anal sex has got to be about the definitive sign of a spoiled society. I have never in my life heard a non-psychotic lady say she actually likes the idea. Have men really gone from thinking to themselves

"Gee, I sure hope a band of Indians don't show up in the middle of the night and scalp my entire family,"

to

"Gee, I...

Grocery shopping last night I kept getting static-shocked by the weirdest things-- refrigerators, chickens, citrus fruits... I wonder what cave-people thought when they got static-shocked.

I know we aren't supposed to hate people on this site, but can you make an exception for noisy neighbors at 8:30 on a Sunday morning?

I never cease to be disappointed by how predictable people can be. I study and observe everywhere I go. As a scientist I continually seek to quantify everything I see, and as an artist I continually hope to find it impossible. As a philosopher I have to wonder: could there be such a thing as mechanized humanity?

I don't think there's such a thing as...

Do we know each other yet?

hey buddy, thanks for the kind words about my song, Im trying to be a muscian I just started exploring that side of me a year ago. the original band I was in decided I wasn't writing the kind of songs they wanted and said that I should find another band ... which I have been putting together for the last 3 months ... and I think I have something ready to go for the summer. The previous band I was in was nu-metal like deftones and taproot and mudvayne ... the song that you saw is going to be an acoustic song I think I know someone that plays acoustic guitar and we are planning on recording that. The new band is going to be a hardcore-ish band like from autumn to ashes but a little lighter than that. Hope that answers all your questions ... I've had a lot of coffee so Im in a rambly mood right now.

Have you ever been just going about your business on a seemingly-ordinary day, when suddenly you realize you're walking down just the right street at just the right time of day, wearing just the right clothes, having eaten just the right thing for lunch (or whatever), gotten just the right amount of sleep, and with just the right song running thru your head, and suddenly...

What is this with everyone's obsessions with stats, anyway? If I said I make $200,000 a year, have slept with 50 women, need to drink 20 beers to get drunk, can bench press 300 lbs, have a girlfriend with a 48-inch bust, and own a car with a 454-inch engine and 400 horsepower off the block, which I always drive 90 miles an hour, that...
