It always sucks when tools get stolen on the jobsite. Especially when the contractor doesn't do the "stand up" thing and reimburse the victim. Luckily, I wasn't the victim, but I feel for my brother Carpenter and will not leave my tool box on the jobsite any longer.

I was on a job in Louisiana several years ago that had a lot of stealing going on .. until one day the Sheriff's Dept. was at the gate checking everyone that went out ... I know dude that is sad, to some though that is a way of life.
