Arggghhhhh! Finally X-Mas is OVAH --- What a relief to be done with the phony happy-nuclear-meltdown-family-god-aren't-we-so-fucking-nice-to-each-other crap.
OK - the good news is that my visa has offically come through! I am now the proud owner of a 'Get Out Of Canada Free' card. The next week or so will undoubtedly be dominated by a myriad of additional paperwork required to ship my worldly goods to whatever address I eventually settle at in LA.
Visiting Toronto has certainly reminded me fully that [A] I really want to keep as much physical distance between myself and my disfunctional family as possible and that I fucking HATE snow. Thank god the flakes in California are all of the two-legged variety.
