There's a gecko tribe of at least a dozen individuals living in the walls and the roofs of the building i live in... (they belong to a rather small species: max 10 cm long; people here call them "tarentes")... now that it's summer, at night my working place's lights attract mosquitoes and there's usually one gecko that comes hunting them... while it roams (on the outside) the large window beneath my drawing table it shows me its white scaly belly and the soles of its strange-looking feet...

the great thing about funotage is the other person can't be entirely mad at you since you're hurt as well having sacrificed yourself for Fallah, a funorist act, although this they do not know. So for being a klutz, yes, they can be upset, but not the kind where they should have any reason to stop talking to you, unless they've been dying to find an excuse to lose you, in which case, no loss really. the lack of hot water was more to keep you on your secret sobriety mission. though i have it on excellent authority that hot water is the best way to soothe poison ivy.

i am often not sure if what happend an hour ago really did, whther it was actually last month, last year, or last dream. taking a nap adds a whole "new day" feel.

I love those too, the neighborhood block that no longer exists but you can still walk up the stairs that once led to their front doors. abandoned bridges are also fun to cross, test out their sturdiness and look down through massive cracks in some of them.

The one good thing about the humid south is when everyone else stinks, it's okay, cause you stink too. It's true. Any other place and I might be weary of having to peel my clothes off everyday. Summer stink, it's great.

i have never seen anything like that, certainly not attached to a human body.

fashion is taking a terrible turn these days. like c'mon, black satin drawstring hem hip hugger capri cargo pants? WTF?? i saw some astonishing trousers in a shop window in paris: bluejeans but the front of the legs formed a union jack in dyed rabbit fur. no, really, and they were 300 euros. bad clothes and bad driving are the two things that most challenge my love of humans.

you better get the hot water shut off in your house.
